Safe Bouldering
- Do a warm-up before you start bouldering.
- Wait your turn and maintain a sufficient distance (1.50 m) from climbers to avoid being hit during a fall or dynamic movement.
- Cleaning holds improves grip; use the brushing sticks in the hall.
- Ensure you can safely jump down from any position, although climbing down is preferred.
- Try to land flat on your feet.
- Distribute the impact; land on both feet.
- Never land with straight arms or legs.
- Bend your knees upon landing.
- Roll backward when falling from a height.
- Do not bend forward upon landing.
- Make sure you master the correct falling technique. Watch the video on our website and/or ask for an explanation at the front desk.
